Yes Marlo83,,,, COB has done a lot of lobbying to the WA Government as well as the Australian Government combined with allied countries through US IRA it’s now up to all of them to begin providing real support. COB through a partnerswith Iwatani Corpor to put Kwinana on the global map as a battery supply hub as an alternative to the DRC stronghold that exists today. The Broken Hill Mine will add to this in the future combined with wastestream development. The original Broken Hill Mine was a game changer for Australia providing up to $200 billion revenue over the life of the mine from base metals. Now the chance of COB growing into a very large global entity is possible but with the addition of the Kwinana cobalt nickel processing plant providing early cashflow to allow this to happen . 2024 is a year to take chances have an optimistic let’s hope we are not stuck in the usual malaise and lose this I opportunity . How many times have great endeavors sit and die on the vine due to business and Government lethargy. iMO.
