    "Ms King is facing the loss of thousands of jobs in her electorate of Brand, with Alcoa shutting its refinery and BHP’s nickel refinery, also in Kwinana, hanging by a thread. She said there were similarities in that both companies had opted not to upgrade their ageing infrastructure a decade ago."
