Our proposed partner Iwatani is a well respected Japanese corporation with a diverse portfolio of services over many years. The fact that they have a landholding at Kwinana to build the refinery with everything in place to fast track the development puts COB in a unique position to be successful if there is suitable agreement terms that are mutually agreeable to both companies. Federal and WA State Governments are supportive of the venture plus the US Government is aware of the benefits this refinery would bring to Western allies in providing a new source of cobalt to the market IMO
