With the WA State election timed for the 8th March 2025 the premier Roger Cook member for Kwinana will be keen to strongly promote industrial development in the seat. The Kwinana nickel/ cobalt processing plant ticks all the boxes. As Iwatani weighs up their due diligence to to decide to complete their partnership with COB the amalgamation is shaping up well.Their ownership of the land with the chance of fast tracking of construction must make them confident to progress their involvement. A chance like this seldomly appears in mining every effort must be taken to finalise the deal at a pivotal time in the industry. The Broken Hill Mine will be enhanced as the refinery is established making COB a real force in the global cobalt production market. IMO.
