Cobalt is only used in 24% of electric vehicles today and is continuing to decline. There is a current surplus of 27000 Tons and the surplus is expected to continue until 2028. China has stopped using Cobalt in their batteries and are using lithium iron batteries now. Cobalt will never reach the heights that it previously reached as reported by China's biggest Cobalt supplier. There is uncertainty going forward in the Cobalt industry. It's all sad news but what can you do.
