Iwatani Corporation is a very well respected Japanese trading company over many years with a large global supply base.that includes the 4 top OEMs in the auto industry. The refinery will be situated on their land already serviced by required infrastructure. The partnership is a perfect match for the establishment of a long term global entity. I think that any large Japanese company of this calibre would not enter into a proposed partnership without a rigourous due diligence study by their board, They hold the site and are very involved in multiple offtake agreements in a number of industries.. The outlay to establish the refinery is modest in mining terms it is in all players interest to get on with finalising the project IMO.
