Fear will always drive a market down. Time lines on battery refinement should be considered. China would not be opening a large cobalt mine in the Congo if the non cobalt batteries are to dominate the market. Questions to ask of course are how many non cobalt batteries have been produced and used in cars already purchased and what is the extent of testing. New technology will always be invented (everyone looks for a better mouse trap) but does that mean it will dominate the market?
