The market was probably expecting an off-take partner to be announced during Q1, and the falling Cobalt price it's putting a lot of downward pressure on the share price. I'm guessing the unknown details of the (US) Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and (EU) Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) might have stalled negotiations as the qualification requirements were not clear at the time. So far, the released information regarding the IRA & CRMA should prove positive for COB in the long run, but funding is the next big challenge, especially if the cobalt price remains low.
