Cobalt Pricing is the real catalyst here. When it starts to show real upward trend (if it hasn't already), my own opionion is it won't stop and it will return to ATH sooner than we expect. This triggers all other 3x elements as you mentioned, also sooner than we expect.
As long as its technology reliance/demand does not change, people will eventually realize that Cobalt will still co-exist for a long long time.
Currently only 5% of new cars are EVs,
In 3x years it could be 10%.
In 5x years 20%-50%.
In 10x years 80-100%.
Porsche have already stopped all new Cayman orders, as Cayman will become the first full EV production line. It is a just a begining.
Just a thought. Current low demand is rather temoprary, it doesn't support anything factual, of cource - as long as the Cobalt element, remains a crucial technical role in batteries, there should be no real concern.
