    COB's decision to start refining in Kwinana is a great way to pre-qualify our Cobalt sulphate while making a good margin on 3rd party feedstock as mentioned by JK (will have to wait until the DFS is out for accurate figures).

    According to this FBICRC report Cobalt will be in shortage by 2026 as battery production is ramping up. Good timing for the Broken Hill mine to come online.
    Most of the US cell manufacturers as relying on ternary cathodes coming from Japan and South Korea as USA is trying to cut it's reliance on China (mainly LFP market). COB is looking to be part of the "Mining raw materials" & "Refining to chemicals" segments of this supply chain.
