Yes. you are quite correct the deal did go ahead. I actually know the site and the deal extremely well.
Goodman precommitted the tenant the redcross in South Sydney. Goodman did not have the ability to fund the project so had to sell it before developing it out. The only way the bank would give them the money is if they had sold the project.
