Thanks, another enlightened comment contradicted by recent news, as well as figures the company has derived from the investigation of Indepenendent Engineers who have taken some of the remuneration in BOE shares, field trials using new technology which was not used prior. As for the board putting back the "theroetical" opening of the mine, the point of opening a mine (anymine) is to make money, not to open a mine, LOL. Why do you bother?

Breaking News: Kazakhstan: Kazatomprom Announces Further Production Cuts
State-owned uranium entity Kazatomprom said today it intends "to reduce planned uranium production by 20% under Subsoil Use Contracts of Company enterprises, in order to better align its output with demand." The scheduled production cuts will be enacted for three years, starting in January 2018, which will result in a production deferral of 11,000 tU (~28.6 million pounds U3O8) over the period; an estimated 4,000 tU (~10.4 million pounds U3O8) will be deferred in 2018 alone.
Earlier this year, Kazatomprom announced plans to curtail production by 10% in 2017, in response to persistently low uranium prices. Kazakh Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev said recently that the country's 2017 uranium production is forecast at 22,150 tU (~57.6 million pounds U3O8) (Nuclear Market Review, November 30, 2017). Kazakhstan and Kazatomprom have maintained the title of the world’s largest uranium producer since surpassing Canada in overall output in 2009. The Central Asian nation produced approximately 38% of global uranium production in 2016. Kazakhstan has significant natural resources, producing 59.4 and 61.8 million pounds U3O8 in 2014 and 2015, respectively; production surpassed 24,000 tU (~62.4 million pounds U3O8) last year, according recent comments by Bozumbayev.
