They milk honey pots of money that they know little of and care even less about. This behaviour is an exemplar of parasitic endeavours - just feed off the host.
The companies owning these honey pots, exist because they are attempting to achieve something productive, but their fundamental value is often manipulated and distorted in the pursuit of profit totally divorced from the raison d'etre of the company.
As a species we need fundamentals, be they successes or failures, but we do not need the trading crap associated with the market.
The fact that we are fooled into believing that we do is indeed one of the most blatant self fulfilling prophesies imaginable.
