Same, I decide to buy (or not buy!) on fundamentals, then look for upcoming catalysts, assess the risk, determine the size of the parcel. Then it's on to the charts for the timing of the entry (known catalysts taken into account).
slick, saragian and hingdog are the 3 chartists I listen to most. They're all different, but their accuracy rates are pretty bloody good and I'm learning new things all the time.
Charts are also good for timing top-ups, as well as exits and protecting profits. If there's no known catalysts coming up and the chart looks like sh*t, I'll sell a few, and reinvest it when the signals show it's reversing. PYC is a perfect example, locked in some gains in Dec when the chart turned, now have that coin aside, and am watching like a hawk for the reversal.
FWIW the chart here looks the goods to me, and with our fundamentals, it's a screaming buy. IMO obviously.
