I have no issue with talking forward, I think the CEO or Mds role is to obviously sell the company and the good, and I know sometimes I seem to come across negatively perhaps but I like think that I am still in the middle on this. Like yourself, I have been in for a few years now and saw this as a 5 - 6 year thing when I brought in.
What I get annoyed by is the feeling of being straight out lied to and when called on it things seem to be just dismissed by many (eg Spenda Wallet - Adrian indicating that that was an invitation only application and not going to be available in the App Store last year - that is just straight out wrong - he said an app and put information out there indicating so and it simply was nowhere near that stage and now this year it is a goal for 2024 - that for me is just not good for busines or reputation).
As for forward numbers, Adrian made it very clear at the AGM that the base numbers from the AGM are 434k per month + payments + any new agreements post November 7 - I remember someone asking him directly as he walked through slide 11 Is that what it is today? and he said Yes. (bearing in mind this was a week after the quarterly had dropped with numbers less than half that being reported). So if this 4C does not show at least 860k + the 500 in late payments + the R&D rebate + + + then at what point are holders (and not the usual suspects here repeating the same SOI blah blah blah) allowed to seek others opinions about where this really at?
@CJTJ - I agree the deals over the past 6 months have been great, and as discussed at the AGM the DD required by Capricorn was unexpected at the level of detail by SPX, and they came through that with flying colours and here we are today, as I have said before, in or around the mark where the company indicated they were at in 202.
I guess the question now though, and I am being genuine here, is how many more times can the numbers fall well short of what has been projected or expected based on information coming out of the company and it being incorrect? If the numbers do not align to those revenue numbers from the AGM slide deck then what do you guys see happening with SPX? I think we all know what happens if the numbers are better than projected, but what if they aren't?
