I am also cautiously on the sidelines. Took a baby scalp trade on ZIP today shorting into $3.16 bids and covering at the close, locking a small +$25 only because I was fearful on trading today due to missing earlier trades in the morning that I was bullish on. This allowed me to press buttons and do what I need to as a day trader and execute

So, I went back to bread and butter stuff, intraday and trading ZIP the way it's meant to. I have gotten out of the way for reasons outlined below



As bearish as the chart is looking on the daily, with a near shooting star into a downtrend resistance level, I am respecting the chart & the pattern.
We can see back during 20th to 27th December 2024 it did a "1 Day Red, 1 Day Green" etc etc type of pattern. I have NO idea if ZIP is doing this pattern again, at truly important levels. Each time the price is bearish, the next day prices close green. The day it closes green, next day they close it red. Literally trapping longs and shorts who chase strength, and who chase weakness. Manipulating both sides of retailers. I still see a lot of weakness on daily and weekly so bigger boys are loading positions and I can't wait to go back to a good swing short on this

I would not be surprised AT ALL for anyone who tried shorting into these logical levels, to actually be bear trapped short term and get hunted out tomorrow. There could be the catalyst for a Friday Short Squeeze aswell. There is a gap at $3.27 which I am respecting, if and when it closes I can re-assess but more things align for a scalp long. Nonetheless I flip-flop between the 2 indiscriminately now so I'll continue to trade this until I think a good short presents itself GLTAHz I will watch closely tomorrow before I trade it again
