I had never thought of ZIP in that context. Of course supply and demand is the underlying cause of any desirable commodity, but ZIP has 1.3 billion SOI and with free float in excess of 88%, 62% held by retail post ASX200 inclusion, I expect that supply / liquidity is one of the greatest advantages for ZIP. I also think that the evidence points to external factors as being the greatest driver of SP fluctuations. ZIP has a lot of very envious 'peers' who only wish they could harness that liquidity.
