Yes j has no claim as a prospector over a pegged exploration tenement. This is why I worry when he and his mates are pulling potentially 100s of thoudands out of the ground easily over weekly periods. If its where the source of gold is which its likely to be if it was a fist size nugget then this is not a hard task with minimal equiptment
