I don't think I'm thick, but I don't get it. I can see both Taurean's scenarios being plausible, and ethical from the companies point of view. I can't see a situation where the company is withholding information from the market at the request of interested parties with the sole purpose of suppressing the share price. Not only is this basically wrong, I don't believe the company would operate like this from what I have seen of the people at the helm.
Perhaps I am seeing what you are saying completely wrong, at least I hope so. (or perhaps I am just thick)
