An interesting article Sotheby, and it does make me wonder why there hasn't been a challenge from anyone, particularly ASIC, to date.
I have no doubt that small traders can't maximize their returns when such bot trading is allowed and being applied. I don't consider that it means you must lose however, since if the market has enough momentum for a particular stock, in a particular direction then that must prevail over the longer term. Share selection therefore is critical, as it is under any scenario, whether it be a "rigged marke",, as it appears bot effectively cause, or not.
In the case of SMN, if a major contract is announced in the coming days, weeks, months, this thing will go UP, bot or no bot!!! IMO
