You are always so quick to support management!! So level headed, sensible and tolerant of what is often a confusing situation for many other shareholders.

Forgive me if I now sound a little jaded but yesterday I had a hernia op and I'm feeling a little less happy with the world .. and the situation with FAR. AS you have pointed out many times over the last 2 years or so management have been generally good communicators and they have been successful in many things like raising cash in a tough market, expertly assessing the geological setting in Senegal and discovering lots of oil. That's WHY some of us are less than happy with this long drawn out saga on PE and the relative silence that has surrounded it.

IMHO and in the words of Cath in an email at the time FAR were blind-sided by the WPL/COP deal as were CNE, Petrosen and the government. FAR was also caught unprepared in my view to PE because they had not expected such a low price (and would not have been able to contemplate it at higher prices). The thing that concerns me is that if this PE opportunity was such a good thing and the prize so large ... why didn't FAR act in the first 30 days? My feeling is that they were unable to put the finance together to do so or find a backer and so they went down the path of claiming they had not had a valid notification, legal arguement and mediation. We have never really been told the detail of what the deal was nor of why FAR considers they did not receive appropriate notification. I know its a complicated situation and the government may well have asked FAR to withhold the details but that has continued to result in uncertainty for all and an open opportunity for manipulation by shorters and or other large interests. Surely you are not happy after all the GOOD news of the last couple of years to have a share price of less than 8 cents?????????

My main hope is that the government also felt that they were ill-informed or under-informed by COP and the recent statement by CN that the government/Petrosen have PE rights might just work in our favour.
