Nonetheless, Prof Edward dutton recently talks about how the southern states of Brazil ie Santa Catarina, Rio de grande sul, sao paulo are wealth creators and more industralised, some speculate that these states are even richer than Portugal. So its hard to say whether it would spiral down like how Venezuela did.
