Dug into this a bit more: looks like the 4/30 Macquarie block trade was on behalf of the Global X Copper Miners ETF (link, including current holdings info.) which has acquired a 1m share position in WA1 as of May 1st. As a confirmatory check, broker activity for 4/30 for other Aussie companies with changes in holding in this ETF show the same fingerprints, e.g. BHP shows a large Macquarie buy on 4/30, SFR shows a large Macquarie sell).
