No idea, you'd have to look at cumulative short sales over the same periods as a % of total volume? Or potentially look at the average purchase value as compared to the average sale value on the right of the tables. Can see whether they were bought and then sold for an average profit or loss. I don't understand enough about it, I was just answering the original question with my basic knowledge. I wouldn't think that you could track it via this data, as shorting is lending and not selling? But then again, covering is buying, and the buy volume has to match off against the sell volume, so it's a good question!That would be why this type of trend is generally seen as negative.
