galileo i agree with your assesment of the recent ggg stock movements smelling badly and being highly suggestive of a large scale manipulation.
it is unlikely however that it is americans.
i think there are few americans holding the stock.
we don't know who actually holds stock and how much they hold, the company says they don't know either. that was said by one of the ggg directors at the last agm a few moonths ago in answer to being asked questions about who owns what shares in ggg.
the ggg director who answered the question used to be a senior executive official of the ASX and I believe is also currently on the board of the company that maintains the registry on GGG. but they say they don't know.
also we know that mickmanynames manycompanies, has been and may still be, one of the major shareholders in the company. he is australian of course. also, when he is around one will often find his mates, who are also australian.
