I think that ABU has every intention of mining Buccaneer, but maybe a long way down the track.
I read somewhere that Darren was considering the possibility of mixing the low grade Buccaneer ore with other higher grade ore obtained elsewhere, to make this a profitable operation. This option becomes much more viable, if and when, the POG approaches US$2000 again.
A 2.5km to 3km Old Pirate open pit does sound very promising, hope it comes to fruition!
