BSL share price needs to be put into context.
When BSL had 700m shares and made $1B profit, the sp was $12.50.
There are now approx 2.1B shares, ie 3 times as many. To keep the same ratio as previous the sp would be $4.17 for a $1B profit. The company is talking about a small loss H1 and a small profit H2. So any sp above $3 ($9 before the capital raising) would appear to be a tad expensive.
Last year, when the aud was at 93c, world slab prices were us$1000/t, today the $ is the same, but world slab prices are us$450. Think what that does to margins.
