you're living in the past, in any case Australia has never done Tesla or Amazon where investors are willing spend massive sums before profits arise. The closest is maybe Xero but that's kiwi on asx and nothing compared to tesla and amazon. in any case the market has changed. Even Tesla is focused on profits and growing profits these days

its easy to lose the opportunity to create genuine business and scale if try to do everything all at once from scratch and not listen to the market. They haven't even established themselves as profitable market leader in the markets they are in - including home market of Australia and already trying to expand to completely different jurisdictions - travel costs have tripled.

it's no wonder the share price barely does anything when they report 100% increase in sales and falls when they report full financials. there's no point having a great story and sales when everyone is just waiting for it to go lower rather than buying like crazy
