I would never ever rely on the price target of any analyst, even if they were a mate who I trusted. Wouldn't even trust a price target if Buffett came up with it himself. Not because they lack the skills, but because of the fact NO ONE can predict future prices - "it's all a fugazi." It's pretty obvious prices don't always reflect the actual fundamentals, and if they did there would be no opportunity to profit on undervalued stocks. Price targets are more a way of indicating just how undervalued (or overvalued) a stock is.
However I do enjoy reading their research. They often have access to info/sources we don't have access to.
