re: brokers recommendations - 4 eddie Hmmm.............multiples of what is the question. That's what makes these broker recommendations so dangerous, they (like most of us) have to work with figures that are already common knowledge but perhaps do not reflect the current state of the business. At the very least punters should be suspicious of brokers talking of "cheap multiples" in stocks that are trending/gapping down.

Mr Rivkin got caught out doing the same with TWR a little while back at $2.

PE multiples mean bugger all when the E bit is in the process of being constantly downgraded and as Alpha says "when in doubt let the trend be your friend".
