Being first they have loads of patents and have worked with standards makers. They have also been careful to separate the information that others hold about production process (even the tool makers only do a part of eachjob). The unrecognised part is OEMs. The last thing an OEM wants is a recall, particularly if people are injured. Having got though with Ford (a real collaboration) they are the easy choice, if you want more mileage on your EV, a bit of bling, it push pull (the customer loves it and the OEM makes more by selling as an option) the are you going to work with a startup for 3-6 years and take a risk or just go to CBR?
