Surging zircon prices have boosted the outlook for Diatreme Resources Limited?s (ASX:DRX) Cyclone Deposit, with brokers Intersuisse now valuing the zircon-rich Eucla Basin project in Western Australia at $172 million, up $30m on a previous independent estimate.
Western Australia?s Eucla Basin is set to become a significant global supplier of valuable mineral sands including zircon and rutile, potentially offsetting declining production in current coastal areas and generating new jobs and exports.
