True, deceptive is too strong of a word.

Potentially misleading would be far more suitable, deceptive implies a malicious intent of some sort.

I agree in most facets of your analysis and fundamental reasonings, I believe they are mostly correct or accurate. This however generates the problem in that some people who recognise this then begin to loose the ability to apply the objective scepticism to your comments and analysis.

I have found myself in this exact circumstance in the past where I took some analysis at face value, and it confirmed a bias I held and led me to increasing my position without conducting the necessary due diligence. I made money on the position but in evaluating my position after the fact I realised the mistakes I made even in a profitable trade.
