To answer your question though, I reckon the XMJ could go down to the pre 2003 trend - that is, the trend before the massive resources run even started. That's around the 6000 area, whereas now we are around the 9000 level.
There is no news from anywhere around the globe to suggest good news for the materials sector and until the financial sector develops a positive attitude towards the iniatives taken by Govt's around the globe, the resources sector can't recover without it.
