First-mover advantage is the advantage gained by the initial significant occupant of a market segment. First-mover advantage may be gained by technological leadership, or early purchase of resources.
The latter is what Zoono is doing. The chemical they utilise has been around since the 1930s. Anyone in the last 90 years has had the ability to commercialise it, but they haven’t.
Of course competitors will spring about when there’s profit to be made, it’s the same with A2M. But by the time that happens, Zoono will have established a reputable name for themselves.
