while you were away shortselling was banned, so how could have it been day traded
i don't think there would be too many takers for a long position to "day-trade it to death"

also was recently thinking about van gogh
there is no doubt in my mind that he was a unique artist
but i suspect that, a lot of the fame arose from the phenomena of "they say its good, so then i will also"
the emporer's new clothes syndrome
the world, past and present, is full of amazing artwork, by nobodies.
The prices paid for his artwork is a reflection of human stupidity.
