I, for one, wouldn't be keen to see the consolidation just yet. Like you, I hold a large number of shares, and the leverage is very nice. Every cent up (or down of course) means a large gain in the coffers. To get the same gain after a consolidation one would need a 10-cent move, which is much less likely. It's the old story - $10,000 invested in RIO giving 10% profit is the same as $10,000 invested in TOX giving 10% profit. BUT, the smaller share is much more likely to move in bigger jumps or percentages than something like RIO.
So, I'm quite happy sitting on shares at 13 cents where they can move to 13.5 rather than $1.30 where they can move to 1.31
Just my opportunism, I suppose. But the last time I held a stock that consolidated 1:10, it went downhill from that point onwards (FLX) so my experience is a little bitter.
