Looking at the data I concur with blackriver,it are the daytraders causing the volatility, Cosec is CBA broker not insto broker and comsec does not lend shares.
This is actually good news for the long term as it means that besides index funds major shareholders are still behind the company and that is also why we have not seen any announcements re holdings and Friday is attributable to the MSCI.
I expect when first production results are releases and all is good there will be an upside in price as long as REE prices hold.
Once cash flow commences it is likely that more funds will add LYC or when the REE basket price increases.
Next few months will still be volatile but after easter things should have improved.
