I assume that the buy-back announced last year is still in force until circa 19 March, largely unused.
I wonder at what price PME will step in to draw a line in the sand?
They don't have enough spare cash to halt a flood by force of buying, but it sends a message.
I guess it depends on management's opinion on what a share of the business is worth at present.
There doesn't seem to be any indication that they have a pressing alternative use for the spare cash that would prevent them from buying some shares back.
I keep telling myself that, for every share sold in the last few days, there has been a willing buyer, but that refrain is wearing thin.
