one needs to be able to distinguish from SP activity vs underlying value.
so many times when sentiment is poor or insots who are iterested in ST relative performance sell, the price of a stick can diverge markedly from value.
a few examples
qan sub 1 dollar a year or so ago
BPT at 88c a year ago
roc at 28 cents a year ago
CSL mid 20s one year ago etc etc
Pru isseriosuly undervalued, s much so there is a massive opportunity. Pru is on the lower end of gold prod costs and thus deserves a premium. give it time but the sentiment will trun and the SP will move towards value. the secret to good investing is to buy assets at 50 of their value, anyone buying pru is doing that
