My questions for you to help me analyse these statistics are;

1) Do you consider Comsec as a broker for retailers only ? Yes or No?
Comsec too can have its own Big clients/investors/traders who can place a big order to buy or sell and who leave it in the hands of Comsec to bring it on market in ORDERLY FASHION by using sophisticated computers ?
I am pretty sure you have heard of the term "iceberg " order. I have not seen one of late .
They used to be marked with a little arrow .

2) Interesting to see.

Note neither purchased a single share."
What message can one derive from this ?
What are the institutions doing ?
How can one work out how retailers were actually buying /selling shares?
Who do you consider is the best informed ?Retailer or Institutions?
That explains why one is doing the selling the other is doing the buying.
