It appears obvious we cannot change to non proven renewables overnight. The new cookers, heating etc for consumer, industry cannot run on non gas fuels yet. Other countries in asia etc, will need gas until hydrogen can be generated on an industrial scale, if it every can.
Unless there is something im missing, shutting off gas is
not a viable option.......yet. unless a large number of people wont be here in 10years time, for example, renewables aint gonna cut it
