If Aussie companies suspended all activities overseas that had the potential of bribery we would not be able to compete for contracts. Our politicians do it, gov't departments do it the private sector does it. I suppose a co. 'gifting' someone a bottle of scotch at the end of the year, no matter how trivial, still extends to the definition of graft. It's only the extent of the monetary value that grabs the headlines. I could be wrong but I think it'll blow over (covered up) due to the extent this occurs, people in business are very well aware of this. It may shock mum's and dad's but not those who are investigating this. Don't forget papers sell on headlines.
