As part of the PLS deal, the Australian unit of POSCO will also acquire a 4.75 per cent stake in Pilbara for $79.6 million. POSCO planned to make about 30,000 tonnes of lithium products per year starting from 2020, Pilbara also planned to take a 30-percent stake in POSCO's planned future lithium factory. POSCO has yet to disclose a timetable or location for that facility.

If there was going to be an over supply why would anyone buy equity in a lithium miner? Shorts Monday only 9% and the share price was flat on big volume. Tuesday shorts should see GXY back into mid 30's, % wise.

It seems like a good deal, GXY needs more than a rumour to kick again.
