If I place an order for say, 50,000 shares at Market Price and only 30,000 of them get filled, how do I fill the remaining 20,000?
I always thought that my order would just gobble up the next available 50,000 until filled, but that's not the case.
If only 30,000 are filled and the remainder is at a different price, then they sit in limbo.
I've tried ringing the Helpline and the wait was too long. On a previous occasion they answered my question but implementing that advice didn't work (maybe I got it wrong).
Can anyone shed any light on this, please?
