You should have three options:
1 - What the Helpline said should work as you are amending the set price back to market
2 - You leave it as is
3 - You amend it to another set price
If 1 isn't working I'm guessing needing to call the Helpline again as it could be an issue with WP Broking (don't think it would be your browser or settings)
