- over the past week we've seen the scandal around the speaker and another MP using a rural MP allowance to live at the beach instead of in their suburban electorates. The speaker, it was revealed, also took taxpayer funded trips to South America, to a country that was later revealed to be his country of birth. What business any state MP has travelling to South America is beyond me.

And then today we have at least two MP's using taxpayer funded limosuines to travel to a rock concert.

And then the grand daddy of them all, Andrews decides to make Bronwyn Bishop look like a responsible consumer of tax payer entitlements by chartering a private jet to Ballarat.
