I agree on Howard, I see him as you do. IMO the potential is always there for M.P.s to make an effort to be worthy of the trust placed in them. For some though. without decent insightful leadership from the Party Leaders, loyalty to the Party comes before the all else and though there needn't be a conflict of interest, less than admirable, self absorbed, serial offending individuals in leadersip positions devoid of high ideals and a lack of decent vision can easily usurp power and erode the checks and balances.
Back to B.B. though, she certainly has her right to have her point of view and she is only stating the obvious, but nothing she has to say could undo the gross failure of judgement she was all too ready to apply as Speaker.
