Yes an astute post, MCB is currently very heavily leveraged to fund his takeover bid and includes a significant premium for such, day traders are playing it in anticipation of further bids. Incoming Federal labor Govt would not stand in the way of a private foreign takeover bid for AGL given its hatred for these companies, mining and resources, all to be ditched for renewables.
