Perhaps an option would be for the likes of Telstra to buy it as a whole and then spin out the Accel assets as per the demerger. MCB would have more difficulties buying a blocking stake in Telstra and likely most TLS shareholders wouldn’t want to hold onto the Accel assets anyway.
Anyway, let’s hope they keep all options open in the strategic review, as they are required to look after the interests of all shareholders, not just MCB and his followers.
